Matthew Nangle catchy noisy pop with a lot of depth. One of The Better Jigsaw Releases I've Heard More Recently... Compliments to my buddy Chris of Jigsaw For Signing These Folks. Favorite track: Know That I Don't Want You.

about

I heard this Athens, Georgia band's debut cassette last autumn, and my very first thought was "how can I get them on Jigsaw?" By the time I contacted them, they were already getting ready to release cassette number two, so I offered to combine both onto a cd, which you find here. One listen, and you'll see why I quickly fell for them: they play perfect and catchy noisy pop with a lot of depth to the songs a la the Ropers, the Swirlies and Juniper. Each batch of songs from the pair of EPs have their own sound - the difference in tone between the two is quite noticeable, as is the band's growth from the first to the second - but when you take them together, they make for a stunning one-two punch of a full-length!
